GST registration opens from 01.01.2017, procedure to enroll for GST registration to taxpayers. The SGT implementation will be starts from 01.04.2017, the existing taxpayers will have to enroll themselves under the GST system in online at https://www.gst.gov.in/.
The schedule of the enrolment activation drive for states is given below. We encourage you to complete the enrolment during the specified dates.

- Puducherry, Sikkim: 08/11/2016 to 23/11/2016
- Maharashtra, Goa, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Chhattisgarh: 14/11/2016 to 30/11/2016
- Gujarat: 15/11/2016 to 30/11/2016
- Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram: 30/11/2016 to 15/12/2016
- Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan: 16/12/2016 to 31/12/2016
- Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh: 01/01/2017 to 15/01/2017

Simple procedure to GST registrations:
- Paperless procedure
- Provisional ID and password
- Documents and information required
- Fill information and submit
GST registration state wice for GST Registration Online at gst.gov.in.
- Visit www.gst.gov.in
- Login page display
- Enter provisional id and password it is sending to your Email and mobile number
- Enter OTP it is also send to your mobile number
- You can choose new user name and password
- User name should contains 8-15 numbers
- Password should have 8- 15 numbers like alphabets one uppers case, one lower case, numeric symbols
- Conform your user name and it is not deleted up to 01-04-2017
- You can get 5 security questions just answer those and note those answers and questions for further usage
- By using new id and password you can enter to login into GSTN common portal
- After login just click on provisional ID enrollment
- Enter all the details as shown on that page and save details
- Now DSC also in same GSTN portal after save you can do this DSC
- Update DSC option is there in GSTN portal
- Enter PAN number
- Now choose your Sign and submit
- Now you can get Registration number
- Now you can upload documents in online and save
- After checking you can go to save conform option
- You can completed provisional registration
